How study works
A serious learning environment, built for the long term
The Madrasah does not offer isolated certificates or one-off workshops. Study here follows the classical model: structured texts, qualified instruction, examination, and formal certification upon completion.
Choose a course and check prerequisites
Each course page states clearly what prior knowledge is required. If none is listed, English is the only prerequisite.
Attend weekly live lessons
Courses are delivered through weekly live sessions of one hour. All lessons are recorded and accessible afterward.
Study the texts with qualified guidance
Each course is built around a classical text. The teacher explains, contextualises, and answers questions — working directly from the source, not summaries.
Sit the examination, receive your ijāzāh
Students who meet the required standard receive a formal ijāzāh from the authorising scholar of the course.
Progress with guidance
Seek guidance from the Shaykh on which course to pursue next, based on your area and level reached.

Texts & Publications
Works from the curriculum, in your hands
The books published and used by the Madrasah are not merchandise. They are the texts on which the curriculum is built, works written, edited, or selected by the scholars who teach here.
Purchasing a book from the Madrasah connects you directly to a text that is actively taught.

“When you see someone who is famous on social media and you only know that he is famous for what he does on social media does he teach? Does he author books? This is how you distinguish the student of knowledge from the one who merely speaks about it.”
From the scholarly guidance of the MadrasahSeeking knowledge in the classical tradition is not a hobby. It is a commitment to time, to adab with the teacher, and to the patient, long work of internalising what is studied. The Madrasah seeks students who understand this, and supports those who are ready to commit to it over years, not weeks. Scholarships are part of the study system
