Najm al-Dīn Abū Yaḥyā Naveed Raza

He is Najm al-Dīn Abū Yaḥyā Naveed Raza, a dedicated student and teacher specialising in the traditional Islamic sciences, with a particular focus on Ḥanbalī Fiqh.

Naveed has pursued his studies under the guidance of prominent scholars both locally and internationally, benefiting especially from the rich intellectual heritage of the Ḥanbalī school. He has spent those years both learning the sciences himself and working out how to teach them to students who arrive from very different backgrounds.

What and where he teaches

Najm al-Dīn holds a teaching position at Al-Madrasah al-Ḥanbaliyyah, where he assists in teaching courses on ʿAqīdah, ʿUlūm al-Ḥadīth, Ḥanbalī Fiqh, Uṣūl al-Fiqh and other related subjects. He is a muʿīd in a number of online and in-person settings, and sits with students while they work through texts and rulings they would struggle with alone.

His focus is on helping students develop the skills and knowledge they need before they can benefit from the more advanced lessons taught by Shaykh Yūsuf.
